    Quotes from last year’s trip-

“I really loved the Iceland trip last year. It was such an amazing experience being able to explore the incredible landscape while also having opportunity to make and strengthen friendships”

“Iceland was one of the best experiences of my life! From the sights, the interactions, the activities, the new friends I made – it was unforgettable”

“I returned and felt so confident about my favourite subject – I completely understood waterfall formations and glaciation.  I had so much fun learning at the same time”

“My magical experience in Iceland had memorable moments such as going to the Lagoon and making your skin glow, the geyser which took me by surprise, and visiting Reykjavík and spending free time with my friends. The scenery of Iceland is breathtaking and I would love to return one day to explore more of this beautiful country!”

  • Proud Scotland Awards 2024

    Published 03/06/24

What a way to kick off Pride Month! We are thrilled to announce that our school has been recognised in the Proud Scotland 2024 Awards where we won the Education category. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all our students and families, including our LGBTQ+ community. 🌈

As a Rights Respecting school, we strive to ensure that every individual feels valued, respected, and secure. We believe that everyone should be able to be their authentic selves without fear or judgement.

In the words of Sterling Graves, "Pride is important because someone tonight still believes they're better off dead than being themselves." Let's continue to spread love, acceptance, and challenge hate and unkindness. Together, we can make a difference. Congratulations to all our staff, pupils, and families for this incredible achievement!
