We had 5 pupils that were selected for the Highland Disability Sports Team that went down to Grangemouth on Wed 5th June, for the Track and Field event. They all performed very well and enjoyed the experience of being part of the Highland Team, coming home with a Gold medal (Nathan Smiles) and several PBs throughout the team.

The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to keep reading during the school summer holidays – and to choose anything they enjoy to read! It’s free to take part and children can sign up at their local library or online.
The 2024 Summer Reading Challenge starts in Scotland on 22 June.
1. Sign up
2. Read books - Set your reading goal and read anything you like! Each time you finish a book or eBook, add it to your profile and leave a review.
3. Earn rewards - Each time you finish a book, visit the library. You will collect special stickers and rewards for reading books! Unlock rewards for your reading including a new online badge and a certificate when you reach your Challenge goal!

ICELAND STUDY TOUR 2025!!!
Open to current S3, S4 & S5 students (places are limited and priority will go to those pupils studying Geography next year)
Pupils currently on study leave should collect a letter this week from Mrs Neil’s office or from the school office.
Please contact the school this week if you require a deposit letter to be sent home. All costings and trip information is available in the letter.

Great week at Alladale Wilderness Reserve.
To our pupils, a massive WELL DONE 
to you all, this is wild camping like no other and the most remote location for a weeks school residential in Scotland! On Thursday night everyone slept in their own hammock and the weather all week was totally tropical 
with only a few million midges 
not that we noticed! Thanks to Alladale Estate, Chris McCormick and Jean Deakin.

Well done to those pupils who returned home on Saturday morning from completing their Silver DofE practice expedition! A huge thank you to our wonderful staff and volunteers who accompanied them on their journey through the Cairngorms.
And relax! Yesterday saw SQA exams come to a close. A huge well done to all pupils who sat exams and a huge thank you to our invigilation team who ensured a smooth running of the diet.
Results Day
Pupils will receive exam results on Tuesday 6th of August by post unless they have signed up to MySQA to get results by text message or email. For those who have already signed up to the MySQA service, please ensure your mobile number and email address are kept up to date.
If there are any queries relating to results, please contact the school office in the first instance.
A reminder to any leavers to collect any medication they have stored at school.
