On Wednesday & Thursday the Bothy took groups to Landmark! 
Everyone was very brave and tried lots of new things. A great time was had by all and the weather was fantastic. Thanks to Jean & Chris in the Bothy for arranging 
Senior pupils are reminded that study leave finishes after the Biology exam on the 27th of May. Senior pupils who are returning to school for next session will start back on Wednesday 28th May and not before then. Pupils who still have exams on either the 28th, 29th or 30th of May should only return to school after they have sat their last exam.
Timetables will be issued to senior pupils at registration from Wednesday 28th onwards and not before. A list of S5 and S6 register classes will be shared on the year classrooms early next week. S4 register classes will stay, for the most part, with their current register teachers in S5 but there will be changes for pupils in S5 going into S6.
We look forward to welcoming you back and hope that your exams have gone well! 
Alice Hutchison in S1 has recently achieved the highest grade of black belt at the Kung Fu Wing Chun Inverness Club. Alice is the youngest pupil to achieve this grade. She also spends time volunteering, coaching other younger participants at her club. Well done Alice on this fantastic achievement! 
Four of our S2 students, Ava, Saoirse, Kodi (pictured) and Freya (absent) took part in the National Reading Championship Regional Heat and came 2nd place! 
We were so impressed by their dedication to the preparation that was necessary for this very difficult quiz! 
The National Reading Championship is a nationwide event that takes place every year and it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the importance and enjoyment of reading
Yesterday pupils from S2 and S3 participated in the Impact Boxing Program run by Liam Foy of the Highland Boxing Academy. Self-discipline, health and well being and enjoyment for our young people who can’t wait to return next week

We had a brilliant day today at The Royal Games
S1-S3 pupils took part in games such as Tug of War, Beat the Goalie, Wellie Tossing, Target Games, Gladiators and biking along with much more! Thank you to all the P.E. staff for organising this House Competition and to the wider staff who came outside to support us and help out. Thank you most of all to our wonderful pupils for participating!

Update from Belgium 
Our history tour began today with a visit to Langemarck Cemetery, a German war graves site, a truly sombre experience. This was then followed by a study vist to the In Flanders Field Museum in Ypres. After a very long journey, think everyone will sleep tonight, ready for more tours tomorrow. Check out more photos in our Photo Gallery Section.
S1 Reports will be emailed out to pupils (and parents that we have up to date emails addresses for) later today. Please ask your child to share their report with you.
Tomorrow students from S1-3 will take part in ‘The Royal Games’. This is a whole-school event where students have the opportunity to take part in a variety of sports, games and challenges where they can win house group points!
The students will come at the below times:
S1 – P2&3
S2 – P4&5
S3 – P6&7
The weather looks set to be fantastic tomorrow 
so S1-3 students can come to school wearing PE-style clothes for the whole day. Also, as it looks likely to be a warm day it would be advisable to bring some water and sun cream too
And they're off! Our Belgium Battlefields History Trip left early yesterday morning and after a long, overnight ferry crossing they have arrived safely in Rotterdam 
ready for the last leg of their journey.
They have lots planned for today, along with lunch in Ypres. Watch this space for photos throughout the week!
UHI Senior Phase Offer Holder Days—6 and 13 June.
This event is for students starting a face-to-face course on a Friday at the Inverness Campus. Pupils will get to meet their lecturer and classmates before the summer. This event was also held last year and it helped pupils to feel less anxious about starting with us after the summer holidays.
