    Lachie Bremner (S5) and Tyla Watson (S3) represented the school in the finals of the Scottish Schools Swimming National Championships in Aberdeen on Friday after getting Top 20 qualifying times for their two events, both finished in the top 10 for all their events. Well done!! 🏊đŸ’Ē

  • S1 Art

    Some of our S1 artists have been learning about line by looking at Vincent Van Gogh’s ink drawings and practising the handling of small brushes and ink.

    They learned how to describe different lines and what visual effects can be created by using lines. They have noticed that Van Gogh used mostly short, curved, thin lines in his drawings to create textures, different tones, movement and the illusion of form!

  • Well Done to our S1/2 Shinty Players!

    Well done to our S1/2 shinty players who took part in a Shinty festival at Charleston Academy.

    All pupils played in a great sporting manner backed up by some very impressive individual and team goals, combining 17 goals scored between our two teams!

  • Our Bike Trails are Now Open!

    The trails are now open! 🎉

    Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the opening on Saturday, we were blown away by the fantastic turnout! đŸ¤¯

    Public access is out with school hours only, until 10pm weekdays and 9am-1pm at weekends based on car park opening times - if the gates are locked the trails are closed, please leave promptly so you don’t get locked in! This is subject to the trail being used responsibly, look after each other and leave no trace. Familiarise yourselves with the rules. Please also respect the neighbours at the IRA Sports Centre, keeping bikes away from the Astro entrances and the building.
