Careers Advisers in School
Throughout your time at school, you’ll have to make some big decisions about your future and that’s where Skills Development Scotland’s Careers Advisers come in.
My name is Joan, and I am the Careers Adviser based in the school here to give you the careers support you need throughout your time with us. Through a combination of group sessions and one-to-one interviews, we can help you understand how your personality, interests and values are key to making the right career decisions. We can also help you understand how to develop and use your talents and skills, explore where they could take you and identify who can help you with your career journey. All to help you plan for and manage your career.
To find out more about the support available either pop down to the careers' room in the SMT corridor, or you can book an appointment through the pupil portal on your chromebook.

DYW
Developing the Young Workforce Inverness & Central Highland (DYWICH) was established in 2016 as part of the Scottish Government’s youth employment strategy. Hosted by Inverness Chamber of Commerce and with an employer-led board, it's our priority to make it easier for employers to connect with pupils in our schools, helping them to shape their future workforce and better prepare young people for the world of work.
